"I who am the Sultan of Sultans, Sovereign of Sovereigns, Distributor of Crowns to Monarchs over the whole Surface of the Globe, God's Shadow on Earth, Sultan and Padishah of the White Sea and Black Sea; of Rumelia and Anatolia, of Karaman and the countries of Rum, Zulcadir, Diyarbekir, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Persia, Damascus, Aleppo, Cairo, Mecca, Medina, Jurusalem and all Arabia, Yemen and many other lands that my noble forebears and illustrious ancestors......  conquered by the force of their arms and my August Majesty has also conquered with my blazing sword and victorious sabre....."

Surat ini ditulis oleh Suleiman the Magnificent kepada sekutunya, Francis I, Raja Perancis. Ketika Islam sedang dikemuncak kekuatan tentera dan ekonomi, politik Eropah di tentukan oleh seorang Sultan dari Istambul yang dipanggil 'Sublime Porte' oleh diplomat Eropah, 

Sekarang arus sudah berbalik, politik umat Islam seluruh dunia ditentukan oleh kuasa Barat - Eropah dan Amerika( juga Yahudi). Umat Islam terpaksa menjadi apolegetik diseluruh dunia, dan mempertahankan hak mereka akan dilabelkan 'extremist'. Terpaksalah mereka menjadi moderate atau liberal untuk menyenangkan hati kuasa Barat. 

Di Malaysia, Melayu terpaksa menjadi apologetik walaupun tentang hak mereka sendiri. Jika terlalu lantang mempertahankan hak mereka, akan dilabel 'rasis', extremist dan mentaliti dunia ketiga.

Ingin lagi sekali saya quote kata Richeliu dalam Political Testamentnya:

"In matters of state he who has the power often has the right, and he who is weak can only with difficulty keep from being wrong in the opinion of the majority of the world."

Umat Islam diseluruh dunia ramai, tetapi hanya seperti buih-buih dilaut.....
