Whenever I hear this: "Moon river wider than a mile, I'm crossing you in style, someday...", then of course I will remember Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Automatically, Andy William's voice sings near my ears, so distinctively and I will remember every sweet scene in the movie, including grand finale with the cat and George Peppard.
But, Andy will be remembered for Love Story, a song triggers enthusiasm to the generation of Ali Macgraw and Ryan O'Neil. The movie was Bobby - a Hindustan love story - of the west. A typical story about youngsters who madly in love with each other. The classic cliche of 'love conquers all'.
The lyric of Season in the sun is almost 'a death poem' to Andy when it says: "Goodbye my friend, it's hard to die". Westlife remake the song, and the young might forgets Andy was a man who makes the song famous.
Andy passed away on 25 of September 2012. He was 84.
